Ilsa has 15 years of experience as a product design consultant and creative director working across multiple design disciplines, collaborating with high-profile clients in both commercial and academic contexts. She is passionate about creating immersive, multi-sensory, experiences which enhance user engagement through divergent thinking and meaningful insight.

Ilsa joins Mindwave at the front end of product development as a research strategist to inform design concept, interface, and functionality through a human-centered approach. Her advanced specialist knowledge of innovation and iterative processes results in culturally relevant, desirable, and economically viable solutions that leave a lasting impact.

Away from the desk, Ilsa continues to tinker with physical product invention and holds patents in the US and UK.​ She is also a percussionist in a global samba reggae band and loves to travel. ​You may even have seen her on the telly!
