Headscape Focus wins at Commonwealth Digital Health Awards

We’re delighted to announce that our work with Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust on Headscape Focus has been awarded a Commonwealth Digital Health Award in the Adolescent Health Category.

Headscape Focus is a PHR aimed specifically at children with ADHD as well as their parents and teachers. The platform allows children and their parents to track medications, and provides connection between them, their teachers and their clinicians.

The Commonwealth Digital Health Awards (CWDHA) took place virtually on 28th November, live from Geneva, Switzerland. The CWDHA is a flagship project of the Digital Health Initiative of the Commonwealth Medical Association.

This year’s ceremony was particularly significant as in 2019, the Commonwealth Centre for Digital Health decided to move the awards to Geneva and conduct it alongside the Commonwealth Health Ministers Meeting and the World Health Assembly, to give more visibility to award winners on the theme ‘Towards Connected Health’.

The shortlisting and success of our work on Headscape Focus at this year’s virtual awards creates excellent awareness of the product among key decision makers, including the Health Ministers of the 53 Commonwealth Countries.

Kumar Jacob, founder and CEO of Mindwave Ventures commented on the award win: “We are thrilled to receive this recognition from the Commonwealth Digital Health Awards, especially in the Adolescent Health Category. It’s an honour to be named amongst so many amazing digital innovations, all aimed at improving the health and wellbeing of people around the world.

“Our recent work on Headscape Focus has been a great success for Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust. A bespoke admin portal was required for this project, to internally manage the on-boarding of its users. Having proved the concept and effectiveness of digitally connecting users and clinicians, Oxleas is now working with us to roll out a PHR service to the whole trust.”

Congratulations to the entire team who worked on this bespoke product for Oxleas!
