Premiere of Digital ‘Digital Lunch & Learn’ at the Health Foundry on Thursday 9th of April, with Arden Tomison from Thalamos and Dr. Victoria Bennet from Mindwave

This session is designed for digital health entrepreneurs and early stage startups who want to understand how to partner with a design and development team to build a successful product or service. Victoria Betton from Mindwave Ventures will guide you through the dos and don’ts of partnering with a tech team through a case study approach with our startup partner, Thalamos.

By the end of the session you will know how to get the best out of partnering with a tech team – from setting your requirements, through to collaborative working and raising investment – you will learn about the key enablers of a successful relationship that drives success.

Arden founded Thalamos in 2018 to address the systemic lack of technology solutions in acute Mental Healthcare. A for-profit social enterprise, Thalamos aims to create technology solutions which support clinicians to improve outcomes. Their first product is designed to Digitalise the Mental Health Act (sectioning), moving it from a slow, error-prone process to one which is swift and helps patients get access to care more swiftly.

Victoria is the chief innovation officer at Mindwave Ventures, a social impact design, and health technology company. She previously founded mHabitat – an NHS hosted digital health consultancy, and Co>Space North – a digital health and tech for good collaboration space. She is a qualified social worker and coach with over twenty year’s experience in local government, third sector and the NHS.
